There are a lot of fees that go along with maintaining a website:
1) Internet fees to connect to the Internet.
2) Hosting fees that are monthly. This is so this website stays on the air.
3) Web Consultant fees. If something goes wrong, technically, like a bug or a virus, or if I want to make improvements to this site, web consultants, well lets just say they, don’t come cheap!
4) Advertising fees – This costs an arm and a leg! Advertising is especially important because it brings the stories of these abused & murdered children to a nationwide audience. The tv news media are very selective in which abused children stories they choose to cover. At Child Abuse Headlines.Com we believe all children, regardless of race or socio economic status etc. deserve to have their stories told right alongside the high profile cases you see on tv. Unfortunately if only a few people stumble upon this website that can’t happen. This is where advertising comes in. It can bring those other children’s stories to a nationwide audience where they belong.
There are other expenses as well.
This site takes roughly up to 4 hours a day to update – and that’s if I work straight without stopping. That’s reading and then writing the headlines from all over the U.S. Running this site is almost like a part time job. These are all hours that I’m uncompensated for.
I don’t expect all of my readers to agree with all of my opinions published but consider this – were it not for this website you would have no way of knowing what Child Abuse Stories are going on right now in different states, everyday. This website keeps you updated. If this site goes off the air or if the number of days gets cut back that articles are published, you lose your source of daily child abuse info.
