Casey Anthony Trial

By: Dovesblood

Casey Marie Anthony is the daughter of George and Cindy Anthony.

When Casey Anthony became pregnant, she reportedly wanted to give her future daughter up for adoption. A high school friend wanted to adopt the baby. Casey’s mom, Cindy Anthony wouldn’t let her. On August 9th 2005, Caylee Marie Anthony was born.

Both Casey and her daughter Caylee lived with family where Caylee was loved and taken care of by her grandparents. Grandma, Cindy Anthony allegedly called Casey an unfit mother and threatened to sue her for custody of little Caylee!

In March of 2008, someone in the Anthony family home did a Google search for the terms, “neck breaking”, “how to make chloroform” “household weapons” “shovel” and “death”. Someone in the home was also visiting websites for missing children.

Casey allegedly stole money from her grandmother. When her mom Cindy Anthony found out she confronted her daughter and the fight escalated with Cindy allegedly wrapping her hands around Casey’s neck!

Casey moved out of her parents home and lived with friends.

On June 15th 2008 Grandma Cindy takes little Caylee to visit with her grandfather who lived in a nursing home. Later in the day, Grandma Cindy and little Caylee have fun swimming in the Anthony family pool. Afterwards Cindy takes the ladder away from the pool and closes the gate. This is the last time that Caylee Anthony would be seen by anyone except her mother.

The next day on June 16th 2008 Casey makes a flurry of phone calls to her parents, all of which go unanswered.

On June 17th the Anthonys notice the gate to the swimming pool is open and the ladder is next to the pool.

June 18th Casey goes to the neighbors house and borrows a shovel. She also backed her car up into the garage.

From June 16th to the 18th Casey Anthony is around the Blanchard Park area. (cell phone pings would later reveal this)

When George and Cindy would call Casey and ask to speak with little Caylee, Casey told them that Caylee was with the nanny, a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez. Neither George nor Cindy had ever seen this nanny.

During the time that Casey moved out of her parents house, she’s off partying at nightclubs and friend’s apartments, living it up and drinking beer. She even got a tattoo that said “Bella Vita” which means in Italian, “the good life”. The partying and drinking and tattoo trip all happened while her little daughter Caylee is not present.

Approximately one month after Casey left her parents home, George and Cindy Anthony got a letter stating their car was abandoned at a check cashing store in Orlando and was currently at a Johnson’s Wrecker! (Casey was suppose to be in Jacksonville, Fl. so grandma Cindy was perplexed the car was abandoned in Orlando where she lived) When George and Cindy went to pick up Casey’s car and opened up the trunk, they were horrified by the smell. Cindy said it smelled like a “dead body” had been in there! Cindy would later recant that statement, saying it must have been rotting pizza.

Cindy found a number inside of the car for Casey’s friend Amy Huzienga. Cindy met with Amy who told her that Casey had stolen her checkbook. (in reality Casey went on a shopping spree at Target buying, the essentials: beer, lingerie and push up bras!) Amy told Cindy that Casey was staying with her boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro.

Cindy went to Tony’s apartment to pick up Casey. Cindy later confronted Casey about the smell in the car. Casey said two squirrels had crawled under the hood of the car and died, that’s why it smelled so bad. When Cindy asked Casey where Caylee was, Casey said Caylee was at the nanny’s house and she wasn’t going to get her because she was sleeping. Cindy kept insisting that Casey get Caylee but Casey refused.

Grandma Cindy actually called 911 on her daughter twice that day for stealing money from her friend and stealing the car! Later on that night Casey finally confessed that Caylee had been missing for over one month and that the nanny, Zenaida Gonzalez, kidnapped her! (this is during the time Casey went out clubbing, drinking and getting tattoos) Cindy Anthony called 911 for a third time, this time letting the world know that Caylee Marie Anthony was missing!

When cops come, they’re suspicious that Casey waited one month to report her 2 year old daughter missing. Casey said she was out trying to find Caylee herself.

Det. Yuri Melich immediately took Casey out looking for Zenaida Gonzalez. They went to 3 addresses Casey said Zenaida lived at. The first was the the Sawgrass Apts. #210. No one there. Det. Yuri Melich would later find out that night (without Casey present) that the apt had been vacant for 5 months!

Casey took cops to another building that she claimed Zenaida once lived at – it turned out to be a senior center!

Then Casey took cops to Zenaida’s mom’s house. When she got to the block, she said she couldn’t remember which house it was!

Casey said she confided in two friends who worked with her at Universal Studios in Orlando that Caylee was kidnapped. Those two people were co-workers: Jeffrey Michael Hopkins and Juliette Lewis. Casey said they both moved out of state and doesn’t have their phone number because she lost her cell phone that the numbers were saved onto. When Det. Yuri Melich later went to Universal Studios without Casey, he found out that Jeffrey Michael Hopkins was fired in 2002 and Juliette Lewis never worked there!

Casey suggested to cops that maybe Caylee (who’s only 2) might try to go to Casey’s workplace at Universal Studios at Disney World. (how, hop in a taxi at 2 years old and go there?) Cops take Casey to Universal Studios. They walk down a long hall way and approach an office. Finally, Casey confesses that she doesn’t work at Universal Studios anymore!

In reality she use to work there but got fired 2 years ago. She would get up every morning, leave the house and pretend to go to work so her parents wouldn’t find out she got fired.

Casey Anthony is arrested for child neglect and lying to investigators. Her bond is set at $500,000. She’s bailed out of jail by a millionaire bounty hunter from California named, Leonard Padilla.

Protesters gather at the Anthony family home shouting “baby killer” and throwing rocks and coins at the house, some even banging at the doors! Cindy and George get into cursing and shouting matches with the lynch mob outside!

Casey is then rearrested on economic fraud charges that stem from her stealing her friend’s checks. She’s put back in jail but is again bailed out this time by someone anonymous who posted her bond through two different bail bonding companies in Florida.

A mounted search and rescue organization called Texas EquuSearch led by Tim Miller comes to Orlando to join in the search for Caylee. They search on land, horseback and the waters. They’re not the only ones. Caylee is also being looked for in the Great Beyond, in other dimensions! Psychic, Gale St. John came to Orlando to join in the search for Caylee!

While the rest of the volunteers were out turning over every rock and stone desperately looking for little Caylee Anthony, Grandpa George was allegedly having a hot, steamy affair with a sexy Latina who volunteered to search for Caylee. Her name is River Cruz. River claims that George Anthony confessed to her that Caylee’s death was an “accident that snowballed out of control”. As it turns out, River Cruz’s real name is Krystal Holloway and she’s an ex con that did time for petty theft! Ready for double trouble? River Cruz has got a twin sister named Skye Benhaida aka Cecilia Holloway who’s also an ex con! George Anthony has denied the affair.

Tests done on the air in the trunk of the car test positive for human decomposition. Hairs found in the trunk are similar to Caylee’s and have a death band around the follicle. (meaning they came from a dead person) The trunk tested positive for the presence of chloroform. There’s also a stain in the trunk that eerily resembles a child lying in the fetal position. Here’s another piece of damning evidence: inside the trunk of the car and in a trash bag taken from the car, investigators found – coffin flies! Coffin flies are gnats that feed on human decomposition.

Casey Anthony is indicted for murder. Because it’s a capital offense there’s no bond.

Casey is being represented by lawyer, Jose Baez. He’s got dark brown hair slicked back in a pompadour and kind of comes across as a snake oil salesman. Jose Baez is immediately vilified for defending Casey. If she’s public enemy number 1, then he’s public enemy number 2. Her other lawyers include Todd Macaluso and legal eagle Linda Kenney Baden. Todd Macaluso would later be forced off the case due to allegations of check fraud – the same crime Casey is also accused of! (talk about birds of a feather!) The other lawyer, Linda Kenney Baden is the wife of forensic pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden. In other words, she lays her head on a pillow every night next to a man who cuts open dead bodies for a living! On the brighter side, Linda Kenney Baden is the lawyer who got music producer Phil Spector a hung jury.

Because lead lawyer, Jose Baez, isn’t qualified to try death penalty cases, a De Paul University law professor named Andrea Lyon joined the team. She’s won every single death penalty case she’s defended and even wrote a book called “The Angel Of Death Row”. Professor Lyon has got a particular quirk though that prosecutors, well lets just say they seem to object to – she cries! Professor Lyon has been known to cry in front of juries when pleading for her client’s life, so much so that prosecutors in other cases have filed motions to keep her from crying!

Casey Anthony’s got one other lawyer though. Talk about saving the best for last! The new lawyer’s name is J. Cheney Mason and he’s one hell of a character! He made his debut at Casey’s indigency hearing. (She’s claiming she’s poor and making the tax payers of Florida foot her legal bills) Anyway, J Cheney Mason came across as this larger than life Texan that might as well have come riding into the courtroom on a horse with his hand in the air twirling a lasso! He’s got some high profile cases under his belt too. Remember that nut case astronaut woman, Lisa Novak who drove all the way to Florida in a diaper to allegedly kill another astronaut woman who was having an affair with a male astronaut that Lisa Novak liked? Well J. Cheney Mason was Lisa Novak’s lawyer and managed to get her off the hook – leaving everyone with their jaws to the ground! I couldn’t even believe she got off.

Roy Kronk works as a meter reader. He’s divorced and let’s just say it wasn’t amicable. His ex wife, Jill Kerley claims that he once duct taped her and kidnapped her for 2 weeks. Jill Kerley also claims that Roy Kronk has had inappropriate relationships with young girls.

In August of 2008, Roy Kronk calls in three tips to the police about a mysterious bag that was in the woods, off the road, some 15 houses away from the Anthony home. That patch of woods was under water and infested with snakes! That area had already been search but nothing was found. Roy Kronk’s tips weren’t acted upon.

Three months after Roy Kronk tips off cops about the bag in the woods this happens: Dominic Casey is a private investigator who use to work for Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez. He’s currently working as a PI for the Anthony family. Around November 11th of 2008, Dominic Casey, on a tip from a psychic, goes to a small patch of woods to search for Caylee and found nothing. (Caylee’s would eventually be found in those same woods that Dominic Casey searched)

On December 11th 2008, meter reader Roy Kronk, is back in the woods at Blanchard Park. He went into the woods to urinate and goes back to the same spot he visited in August. While in the woods he comes across a laundry bag that was inside of two plastic garbage bags. He kicked it, heard a hollow sound and a tiny skeletonized head with light colored hair around it rolled out! There was duct tape and a heart shaped sticker directly over the skeleton’s mouth! Bones were strewn around the woods from the snakes and other animals. There were also a Gatorade bottle reportedly filled with chloroform and a syringe nearby. Also inside of the bag was a knife, duct tape, a Pooh blanket and some kid’s clothes. The skeleton was later confirmed to be the remains of the missing two year old toddler, Caylee Marie Anthony.

After Caylee’s skeleton was found, that same evening, grandparents, George & Cindy Anthony are living it up at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. They were enjoying the luxuries of fine dining feasting on crab puffs, while the rest of the country was in shock over Caylee. When lawyer, Jose Baez showed up at the dinner, Casey’s brother, Lee Anthony reportedly bought a steak for him! George & Cindy had just come back from LA where they were taping Larry King Live. The tv station ABC had put George & Cindy up at the Ritz-Carlton for 3 days starting from the day Caylee’s skeleton was found.

Grandpa George Anthony would later try to kill himself to be with little Caylee. He had been reportedly sending text messages to family members saying he no longer wanted to live and wanted to be with Caylee. Cops found him at a motel with medications and a suicide note! He was taken to the hospital.

Casey Marie Anthony, remains in jail in Florida. The Casey Anthony Trial is expected to start in May of 2011. She’s facing the death penalty.

Caylee Anthony’s skeleton was cremated admist rumors that people would dig it up and hold it for ransom. Mom, Casey Anthony reportedly said that she wanted Caylee buried so that she could go visit her grave one day. Because Casey gave her parents legal authority over Caylee’s remains, the final decision was up to them. Despite objections from their daughter, George and Cindy decided to have little Caylee’s skeleton set on fire and burned off the face of the Earth.

Casey Anthony Trial : Oddities

While Casey Anthony has been sitting in jail, there are some interesting and somewhat unusual things going on:

Remember Zenaida Gonzalez, the phantom nanny that nobody had ever seen? Well as it turns out, there’s a real Zenaida Gonzalez. She’s a single mom with six children who doesn’t even know Casey Anthony. After Casey accused her of kidnapping Caylee, people in Florida were threatening the lives of both Zaneida and her six children! In addition, Zenaida also can’t get a job because people are suspicious of her because of her involvement (or lack thereof) in the case. Zenaida Gonzalez is currently suing Casey Anthony for defamation.

CNN Headline News host Nancy Grace has spearheaded the media attention around this case, adding fuel to the already fired up public. In Florida, the public’s obsession with the case almost borders on a religion!

A Caylee Anthony doll was created called the “Caylee Sunshine Doll” that sold for $29.99 “Sunshine” after the song, “You Are My Sunshine”, a song Caylee once sung in a video.

Casey Anthony Trial

After a public outcry, the doll was later discontinued but another doll surfaced – a Casey Anthony Voodoo doll! You heard right. A Voodoo doll, complete with Casey’s face and a body that you can stick pins into!

Casey Anthony Trial

If Voodoo doesn’t freak you out then this will: Human Sacrifice! There were accusations that Caylee Anthony was the victim of a human sacrifice! In a series of emails between Anthony family PI Dominic Casey & Cindy Anthony, it was stated that Casey’s former fiances father, Richard Grund, had beliefs that could lead him to commit a human sacrifice!

The Caylee Anthony case has attracted international media. There’s currently a play in Australia called “Tot Mom” based upon the story.

Despite the fact that the case hasn’t even gone to trial yet, author, Diane Fanning, wrote a book about it called, “Mommy’s Little Girl”. There was an immediate public outcry saying the author was making money off the death of a murdered child. That’s baloney in my book. According to these people and their logic, no one would be able to write books about murder victims. Here’s how it is: newspapers make money off of murder victims, when you buy the papers or visit their websites – they make money. So do prosecutors and judges (collecting a salary) TV stations make money when they run the story and people tune in etc. It was the same thing with the Caylee doll. People were demanding the company be shut down for making money off of a deceased child. This is a free country, the last time I checked. Americans are free to create dolls, trading cards, comic books and anything else they want of murder victims regardless of whether you like it or not. This is not North Korea. You cannot legislate taste in America. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. I for one am thankful Diane Fanning wrote the book because I was able to learn alot more about the case from reading it.

Casey Anthony Trial

It was rumored that the Anthony family sold the rights to Caylee’s story to the tv station, Lifetime in exchange for 2 million dollars! They have denied this.

Casey Anthony Trial : Theories

So who or what killed Caylee Anthony? Here are the theories:

1) That mom, Casey Anthony wanted to go out partying, chloroformed Caylee so she wouldn’t wake up and Caylee might have accidentally died from the chloroform. Now, grandma Cindy already thinks Casey is a bad mother, looks down on her and doesn’t think much of her. What is Cindy going to think when she finds out Caylee died on Casey’s watch? Casey couldn’t even tell Cindy she got fired from her job because the parents would probably look down on her even more. How’s she going to tell them Caylee died in her care? Can’t exactly tell the parents so she makes it look like a kidnapping. It’s possible Casey might have put duct tape on Caylee’s mouth to make it look more like a kidnapping in case anyone ever found the body?

2) That Casey wanted to go back to living the single life without the constraints of motherhood, so she murdered her own daughter, so she’d be free from, “mommy duties”.

3) That Caylee could’ve drowned in the Anthony family pool accidentally. Remember she was swimming in the pool with Grandma Cindy Anthony on June 16th. Cindy took away the ladder to the pool & closed the gate. That was the last day anyone besides Casey saw Caylee alive. The next day on June 17th Casey makes a flurry of phone calls to her parents, some within minutes apart. All go unanswered. If something happened to Caylee, like she got into the pool and negligent mom, Casey, didn’t see her and she drowned – this could’ve been the day it happened. Hence the flurry of phone calls. The following day on June 18th, the Anthony’s noticed the gate to the pool was open and the ladder to the pool was there, so somebody had been inside.

4) That meter reader Roy Kronk killed Caylee Anthony.

Casey Anthony Trial : Evidence

Here’s the evidence against Casey Anthony vs. Roy Kronk or Mystery Killer:

Damning evidence on Casey Anthony:

1) Casey reportedly never wanted Caylee from birth. She wanted to giver her up for adoption to her high school friend.

2) Three months before Caylee Anthony disappeared someone in the house used a computer that Casey had access to, to do a Google search on the words “chloroform”, “neck breaking” “shovel” “death”! That same person is also looking at websites for missing children! Missing children websites are something that predominantly interest women. There were two women in that house: Cindy and Casey. Cindy doesn’t exactly strike me as the warm and fuzzy type so that leaves one other woman.

3) One month passed before Casey finally reported that Caylee was missing. It was only reported because grandma Cindy confronted her about where Caylee was.

4) During the month that Caylee was missing, Casey is out partying at nightclubs, drinking, laughing, even getting a tattoo that said “Bella Vita” – the good life. Those are hardly the actions of a woman who’s child just got kidnapped.

5) Casey allegedly lied to cops about there being a nanny. She lied about working at Universal Studios.

6) The car trunk tested positive for the presence of chloroform. Air samples from the trunk suggested human decomposition. Hair in the trunk was similar to Caylee’s hair and it had a death band on the follicle, meaning it came from a dead person. There was a stain in the trunk that resembled a child lying in the fetal position. There were coffin flies in the trunk and in a trash bag from the car. Cindy herself said that the trunk smelled like there had been a dead body inside. She later recanted that statement and said it smelled like rotting pizza.

7) The duct tape that was wrapped around Caylee’s mouth is the same rare brand of Henkel duct tape that was found in the Anthony family home. Ironically, this same duct tape was what the grandparents used to tape missing person’s fliers of Caylee all over town when she first vanished.

8 Cell phone pings from June 16th-18th place Casey Anthony around Blanchard Park near the Econ Trail – the same area where Caylee’s body would be discovered 6 months later.

9) The canvas laundry bag that Caylee was found was linked back to the Anthony home. (similar bag there)

10) The heart shaped sticker over Caylee’s mouth was linked back to the Anthony family home

Damning evidence on Roy Kronk or Mystery Killer:

1) Roy Kronk’s ex wife, Jill Kerley claims he kidnapped her for 2 weeks, duct taped her and beat her. (Caylee Anthony was duct taped)

2) Jill Kerley also accuses Roy Kronk of having inappropriate relationships with young girls. (Caylee was a young girl)

3) Roy Kronk’s other ex wife, Crystal Sparks claimed he threw her up against a door and exposed their 6 year old child to porn!

4) There was a stranger’s DNA found on the duct tape around Caylee’s mouth! Here’s the background on that: the duct tape evidence was contaminated. An FBI lab tech’s DNA was found on the duct tape. In addition to that, a stranger’s DNA was also found on the tape. The mystery DNA did not belong to anyone in law enforcement who came into contact with the duct tape nor did it belong to anyone in the Anthony family!

5) In August of 2008, Roy Kronk called in tips to police 3 times about a mysterious bag that was in the woods in an area under water and infested with snakes. 5 months later he goes back to the woods to urinate and finds Caylee’s remains in the same spot and bag that he told cops about 5 months prior. How coincidental that he just so happens to be in the woods urinating and runs across the same bag he saw 5 months ago??? This area was previously searched when Casey Anthony was in jail and no body was found. 5 months later, while Casey is still in jail, a body is discovered there – in an area previously searched! This would suggest that after the searchers left, someone other than Casey put that body there. (unless the body was already there and the searchers missed it, which is not likely)

6) On the day that Roy Kronk found the remains, December 11th 2008 – on that same day he was talking about the reward!

7) Back in August 2008 when he first called in the three tips to cops about the bag in the woods he reportedly told co-workers and Deputy Richard Cain that he thought he saw “a skull” in the bag! (there are some killers that after they kill the victim, will wait around at the scene of the crime so they can watch the body being found. If nobody finds the body, some killers will call in tips to cops themselves so they can watch the body be found. It’s not unheard of.)

8 A 5 inch long, fine hair that came from a Caucasian was found next to Caylee’s remains. It didn’t belong to Caylee, Casey or anyone in her family, nor law enforcement!

Here’s another interesting tid bit that doesn’t concern Roy Kronk but is unusual: Joe Jordan is a volunteer search leader with Texas EquuSearch. On September 1st 2008, Joe Jordan took a group of volunteers and a cadaver dog with him to the woods in the exact spot where Caylee Anthony’s remains were eventually found, and the group found nothing! So that’s Sept. 2008. In Nov. 2008, Anthony family PI Dominic Casey went to the exact spot where Caylee would be found – and he found nothing! Then in Dec. 2008, Roy Kronk, who happens to be out urinating in the woods, coincidentally finds the body. Two days after Roy Kronk found the body, Joe Jordan called Sgt. John Allen and told him that he feels someone put Caylee’s body there after they searched that spot! 11 months later, Joe Jordan would say he no longer feels that way. Joe Jordan told defense investigators this on October 27th 2009. Then he later told prosecutors that he was never there! Why would he lie about being there? This seems like a coverup on the part of Texas EquuSearch in an effort to convict Tot Mom, Casey Anthony. Judge Stan Strickland ended up sealing the recording of him being interviewed because he said it was obtained unlawfully!

If you’ve been following along so far, it seems that the bag containing Caylee’s skeleton appears to have been there, then disappeared then put back there again! Here’s what I mean:

The patch of woods in Blanchard Park where Caylee’s remains were found was initially searched in the days after she disappeared in July 2008 and nothing was found. So she wasn’t there.

Then in August 2008, Roy Kronk calls cops three times telling them about a mysterious bag being there in the snake infested waters. So Aug. of 2008 the bag is there.

Then in Nov. of 2008, acting on a psychic’s tip, private investigator Dominic Casey, goes to the exact patch of woods where Caylee’s body was seen by Roy Kronk, and the body wasn’t there! It’s gone, disappeared three months later!

Then in Dec 2008, the bag with the body resurfaces again, when Roy Kronk finds it and tells the world.

So somebody is playing musical chairs with this body, putting the skeleton there, then removing it, then putting it back – and all of this going on while Casey Anthony is in jail! Either somebody else is helping Casey Anthony from the outside to make it look like she didn’t do it by moving and removing the body to create reasonable doubt or someone else, maybe, Roy Kronk, really did do it? Either way, the jury is going to have a lot on their plate and that’s putting it mildly.
