Here’s what sets our site apart from the rest: There are no long, boring articles to put you to sleep. What you’ll get are bite sized headlines that give you the jist of a story in a nutshell! Here’s how we got started:

In early 2008, I attended a local murder trial in New York City for a 7 year old child who had been brutally murdered by her parents. After the trial was over I wondered what was going on in other states in reference to child abue news. Who were the children being abused in California? In Florida? In Hawaii? In Texas? Who were the children captivating those states?

There was no one place I could go to get daily child abuse news for every state in the country. Sure there are other blogs and websites that post some child abuse news but you’d have to sift through the adult crimes to get to the child abuse crimes. Then there are other blogs that post a few child abuse stories a day but nothing for every state, every day. Since there was no one place for me to go, I decided to create that place and thus Child Abuse Headlines was born. In essence, I created this site for myself. I later decided to share it with others online.

The mission of this website is:

To provide a place where people can get daily child abuse news for every state in the country.

I run the editorial aspect of this website single handedly. All stories are collected by myself by reading news accounts from all across the country. I write all of the headlines myself. If you don’t see a headline for your state it doesn’t mean nothing is going on. It just means that there was nothing there when I looked. I can’t get to every single child abuse story in every part of the state (some states are huge!) because I’m only one person but I do try as best I can. I do the editorial work. Others help out with the technical aspects of running this site.

As you can imagine, this website is no easy site to run. I have to cover the entire United States. It takes a couple of hours a day. It’s very time consuming.

I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I’m actually very proud of the work that I do. This site is one of a kind and original. A trailblazer! It even spawned some copycats who use this website to build up and provide info for their own Websites, Facebook pages & Forums, never acknowledging the source of course – but this website is the source. Here’s where you’ll find all of the child abuse articles first before they end up copied elsewhere.

I should point out that this is not a “Gotcha” website. It’s a news website with the focus on child abuse. Yes, I do give my opinions on some of the stories so in that regard it’s not straight news reporting.

To be clear, Child Abuse Headlines.Com is not a Child Abuse advocacy organization – it’s an online newspaper.
