Prosecutors allege Christian endured beatings daily and was kept locked in a 3-foot-high dog cage, where he had little to eat and often soiled himself. The DCS report, dated June 2008, says there was no evidence of neglect.
Prosecutors say 20-year-old Gregory Colver Jr. had turned on the oven in his Daly City home to make pizza on Dec. 28 and saw his son banging his hand on the open door. To teach the child a lesson, prosecutors say, Colver lifted the boy’s legs into the oven but lost his grip and dropped him onto the hot coils.

MT- FIRE DEPT RECEIVES DONATIONS OF PET RESUSCITATION KITS! Invisible Fence of the Big Sky, Brodie and Melanie Bergeson, Circle of Life Wellness Center, Dr. Edie Best The kits were donated by 2 local businesses: Invisible Fence of the Big Sky and Circle Of Life This is a really good thing that these two businesses did. I’m wondering if all fire departments have pet oxygen kits? If they don’t then they need to.
It is estimated that 40,000-150,000 pets die each year due to smoke inhalation, and most fire engines are not equipped with specially designed pet oxygen masks. Each kit donated includes a small, medium, and large mask to accommodate the pet in need. The donation of these potentially lifesaving animal oxygen mask kits will enable Billings’ first responders to efficiently administer oxygen to a stricken animal.
Authorities say the emaciated dog weighed just 37 pounds and according to veterinarians, the animal had only hair, dirt and rocks in his stomach, with no evidence of food.
