NV- 3 BLACK CATS FOUND MUTILATED, THEIR SKULLS BASHED IN, BONES BROKEN, ONE BEATEN WITH A PIPE – KILLER WANTED! Reno, NV This story is close to my heart because I feed a feral black cat in my area. I feed him Fancy Feast wet, twice a day and cat treats. I love him so much and worry about him every single, solitary day. Please, if anybody knows who’s doing this to these cats, please do the right thing and tell the police. Also, if you see any feral cats in your neighborhoods, please, I’m begging you, don’t throw rocks at them or chase them away. Please find it in your hearts to leave some food out for them.
Authorities say all the cats were black, which historically have been targeted over the centuries for superstitious reasons. Even today, these animals are the last to be adopted at shelters and in many places are not allowed to be placed in homes over the Halloween holiday.
