Engelica Castillo was 2 year old Jada Justice’s cousin. Allegations: Both Engelica Castillo & boyfriend, Timothy Tkachik were purported heroin users. According to affadavit, Tkachik saw Castillo hitting Jada & pulling her hair! Jada wouldn’t cry so Castillo spanked her even more. At one point she slapped Jada & her head fell against a table. They found her dead in the back seat of their car while they were driving to get more heroin. They considered burning her body. They ended up putting the child’s body in a bathtub filled with water & concrete, then used a space heater to harden the concrete so the baby was entombed within the concrete! They then dumped little Jada’s body, encased in concrete, into a swamp! Afterwards they claimed she was kidnapped from a gas station. Here’s an older article with BACKGROUND INFO
The F.B.I. just testified at Engelica Castillo’s trial that they questioned her about cell phone records that indicate she lied about phone calls she made after she claimed Jada Justice was kidnapped from a gas station. The FBI agent said when being questioned about the phone records, Castillo stomped her feet, shook her head & raised her voice! I just heard on the Nancy Grace show that since the body is skeletonized, cause of death will be harder to determine. He’s only been missing for less than a month but since his body was exposed to the elements, heat, animals etc – it decomposes more quickly.

“We discussed several possible scenarios, and it was their believe the injury was intentional, and the only way it could’ve occurred was if the child was sitting in the tub and a person bringing such a large amount of water in a pot literally just poured it right on top of him,” Jasso said.
The child was burned over 80 percent of his body, with just his hands and his buttocks unaffected, Jasso said. Where the once-African American-looking child was burned, his skin appears like that of a Caucasian child now…
Schronen downloaded to his computer 2,785 explicit images of children from the Internet. He also had more than 564 videos, some of which showed men raping prepubescent and infant girls. Prosecutor Trina Higgins said each video is the equivalent of 75 images, meaning Schronen had more than 45,000 images on his computer, including “the grossest videos that ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) agents have had to watch.”
