The night of the beating, Peno told police that she drank two large beers and took four Tylenol PM pills. The police report also indicated Peno’s right hand was swollen and red, and that Timothy was bleeding from the nose and mouth, and had a severely bruised head and face.

A Manhattan jury is set to begin deliberations this afternoon in the case of little Mariah Rodriguez — a developmentally delayed toddler who survived a brutal chain snatch after wandering off alone in her Upper East Side housing project in June 2009.
Rodriguez was left with marks around her neck from her attacker’s violent yanking of her gold necklace, along with bruises on her head and body from falling to a stairwell floor.

TX- DEATH ROW INMATE CONVICTED OF RAPING & KILLING GIRL, 15, APPEALING, SAYING JURORS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TOLD OF HIS NEW RELIGION – SATANISM! Irving Davis Jurors were shown his pentagram tattoo and the Satanic Bible removed from his cell. The judge himself even said that if Davis was aligning himself with “Satanism” that he’s got to be evil. I’m not defending this man for raping and killing a 15 year old girl but the judge is just flat out wrong and using his own Christian beliefs to judge other people’s motives and religion. Modern day “Satanism” endorsed by the book “The Satanic Bible” by Anton LaVey is more about Hedonism in general. The book doesn’t say to go out and kill people. Rather it endorses satisfying all of your senses. The book endorses hedonism, not murder. I know because I read it over 20 years ago.

Prosecutors counter that allegiance to the Church of Satan was relevant information for jurors, who had to determine whether Davis should be put to death as a continuing threat to society.

Centre County Judge Thomas King Kistler, The Centre Daily Times and The Daily Collegian student newspaper at Penn State This is a complete violation of the 1st Amendment! The right to a defendant to have cleared records is only meant for the courts. The media can write whatever facts they want. This Judge Thomas King Kistler should be disbarred for making a ruling that is clearly unconstitutional. The courts don’t get to tell newspaper what stories to delete.
Newspapers ultimately are under no legal obligation to change archives that are factually correct, and an expungement of court records doesn’t mean the events never occurred, said Melissa Bevan Melewsky, a media law attorney for the Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Newspaper Association.
“It’s accurate when it was reported, and that means there’s nothing illegal about it,” she said. “It’s protected speech.”
