NYC- NEW YORK CITY MAYOR TO CUT FUNDING TO HELP TROUBLED FAMILIES – PROTESTERS SHOW UP ON CITY HALL STEPS CARRYING PHOTOS OF SLAIN CHILD, NIXZMARY BROWN, 7! Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Nixzmary Brown, 7 Protesters showed up on the steps of City Hall carrying a sign that read “Remember Nixzmary Brown” – with the slain 7 year old girl’s picture on it. The focus on preventing abuse has helped keep children safe, prevented families from being divided and avoided unnecessary referrals to costly foster care, according to children’s advocates.
Now, under Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s budget proposal, funding for preventive services for about 3,000 families could be cut.
NIXZMARY BROWN was a 7 year old girl who was tortured then eventually murdered by her STEPFATHER in 2006 for taking a strawberry Jello Pudding snack from her family’s fridge. Her death led to many reforms of the New York City child welfare organization, ACS. (Administration For Children’s Services) A law was passed after her death called, “Nixzmary’s Law” imposing a sentence of life without parole for the murder of any child under age 14 in an especially cruel & wanton manner. “I felt him move, I felt him hiccup, we used to talk to him,” said Nicole Jackson of Millersville, Pa…..Instead of receiving a death certificate, they’re pushing for a bill that would give them the option of getting a birth certificate called a ‘certificate of birth resulting in stillbirth.’
This is something that I strongly agree with- death certificates for miscarried or stillborn babies. Here’s why: in a lot of states, if a woman miscarries very early, a hospital won’t grant a birth certificate. Without a birth certificate, they won’t issue a death certificate. The law states that in order to be buried in a graveyard, you have to have a death certificate. Without this parents are refused burial in graveyards. A lot of hospitals won’t even let them take the remains of their miscarried child home! Hospitals refuse to turn over the body, however small, claiming that it’s “medical waste”. They throw the baby’s body in an incinerator with people’s kidney stones and gallbladders, set it on fire & burn it off the face of the Earth. They see the baby as “medical waste” instead of a human being. There have been instances where families are against cremation for religious reasons and hospitals still refuse to turn the miscarried child’s body over to the family, burning it up instead. Unfortunately, bills pushing for a death certificate for miscarried and stillborn babies are usually met with harsh opposition from abortion rights groups and politicians. These people are standing in the way of grieving parents who simply want to bury their child in a graveyard. Who want their child buried with dignity and not burned up with stranger’s gallstones!

I heard on the Nancy Grace show that it’s suspected that Joran Van Der Sloot left Stephany Flores in his hotel room while he went to a gas station across the street to get coffee and bread. While he was gone, she went into his laptop, found out about connection to the Holloway case, he allegedly claims she smacked him, he hit her back & broke her neck! Holloway’s MOM is urging prayers for Stephany Ramirez’s family. In related news, Natalee Holloway’s mom is opening up a center for missing children called the NATALEE HOLLOWAY RESOURCE CENTER
Holloway said it will provide services that she initially lacked when her 18-year-old daughter vanished, such as access to government and media contacts and missing persons posters.

Police say Delgado shook his son for about 30 seconds before forcefully removing the baby’s blanket, causing the infant to spin toward Delgado’s chest. At this point, Delgado allegedly told police, he lost his grip on the baby and threw his knee up to catch him.
