The couple left the children alone for at least six hours on May 1 to go run errands and have lunch, Fleming said. When the officer arrived at the house, the girl was wearing a nylon harness attached to a bicycle chain that was padlocked to a crib in one of the bedrooms, Fleming said.
The girl has cerebral palsy and is not able to speak. She was wearing a dirty diaper and appeared relieved when police arrived, Fleming said. They used a bolt cutter to free her, and both children were turned over to DCFS.

The boy’s mother told police a pickup with a trailer was in the front yard of the home working at an empty house. Preliminary investigation indicates the boy was under the vehicle when it pulled from the yard onto the street and was struck in the head by the under carriage.

DC- AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS IS BACKING AMERICAN DOCTORS PERFORMING A RITUAL “NICK” OR PINPRICK AS FEMALE GENITAL CIRCUMSION! They’re hoping if they allow doctors to do this that parents won’t take the girls overseas for a full cli.toral circumcision. All circumcisions, male and female are both savage and barbaric practices and anyone who mutilates their child’s genitals belongs in prison! I don’t want to hear about your religion. You don’t have an absolute right to practice your religion in this country. If your religion calls for human sacrifice, you can’t do it because you’d be in violation of state murder laws. Your religion does not give you a right to cut off a part of your baby’s genital. – that’s male & female! The bible says you should stone your children to death if they curse at you – are going to do that too? So if you wouldn’t do that, why are you abiding by the savage practice of mutilating your baby’s genitals? And the whole “health” argument doesn’t fly either. Proponents of male circumcision aka genital mutilation say it’s done so the child won’t get “penile cancer”. That is a pathetic excuse. If we cut off little girl’s breasts they won’t get breast cancer so should we do that too??? Bottom line: circumcision is a human rights violation. It’s the worst form of child abuse.
