Five-year-old Leon Walker spent his final hours with his hands bound together with an electric cord, squirming to avoid more blows from a belt, begging to be untied.
His father, Leon D. Burns, admitted to police he had “probably went too far” on Wednesday, the day Leon died from a broken neck, his body covered with “deep bruises,” court records state.

A policy saying all girls should wear dresses only favors heterosexual girls and discriminates against homosexual girls. Butch lesbian girls don’t wear dresses. Imagine if a predominantly Gay school asked a heterosexual male to wear a dress. What heterosexual male do you know that would put a dress on? None. Because it’s an insult to their dignity. So they’re asking gays to do something that, if the situation were reversed, they themselves would never do. The policy discriminates towards homosexuals and I hope the ACLU gets involved.
