The case is the result of an undercover F.B.I. operation that took place on the Internet. The feds posted an advertisement on Craig’s List indicating that young females of indeterminate age were available.
The federal prosecutor told the judge in court Wednesday morning they had evidence Father Grady tried to hire a 16-year-old girl to have sex with last summer. In reality, the priest was communicating with an undercover agent.

Steve Nunn, allegedly. This bill would punish people who haven’t even been convicted of crimes. The GPS is not for people convicted but is for people accused of domestic violence. Punishing people for crimes they haven’t been convicted of in un American. This is not like an order of protection. This is a electronic device that the accused would have to wear around their ankle 24/7 like an animal being monitored. There are an awful lot of vindictive women out there that will be taking advantage of this and falsely accusing men. What happened to Amanda Ross was tragic but that’s no excuse to interfere with people’s Constitutional and civil liberties.
