Testimony lasted 3 hours and the judge held Margarita Garabito over for trial in the death of Charlenni Ferreira. Margarita Garabito’s lawyers are pulling the battered woman’s bullsh*t card and claiming she was living in fear of Charlenni’s father, Domingo Ferreira. In the below VIDEO, the stepmother’s lawyer is claiming she doesn’t speak or read English when she signed a statement claiming she beat Charlenni with a metal broom stick causing the gash to her head. I don’t blame the lawyer because she’s just doing her job, but it’s the biggest pack of bull I’ve heard. This step-monster is going away for a long, long time.
Testifying today, Assistant Medical Examiner Marlon Osbourne needed more than half an hour to catalog Charlenni’s injuries, which stretched from a fractured skull to bruising down her leg.
Gruesome autopsy photos and postmortem X-rays showed Charlenni’s litany of healed and fresh injuries, including a fractured shoulder blade, and bone deformities on her hip and arm from past trauma.
She had a gash on her head that was seven inches long and four inches wide that had been stuffed with cotton and concealed under a hair weave.“She has to be in heaven, she has to be an angel, because her life on earth was a living hell,” said Municipal Court Judge Patrick F. Dugan.

The mom left Kyle with her friends, Nymeen Cheatham & Lemar Martin. They beat him, sodomized him, forced him to march in place, do push ups, threw cold water on him, allegedly. Kyle had bruises on his back, b,uttocks, legs & sc.rotum, torn tongue & lacerations inside a.nus. The godmother Nymeen Cheatham accepted a plea deal and was just sentenced to 20 years.
Today was opening arguments in Lemar Martin’s trial. Lemar Martin’s defense is claiming he slept through Nymeen Cheatham beating Kyle to death with a hairbrush and that’s why he didn’t intervene, because he didn’t know. Yeah, right. Apparently, during today’s opening statements, the prosecutor and defense lawyer were accusing the other of being racist, arguing with each other so much that the judge had to tell them to stop. The defense attorney actually had the nerve to say the prosecutor was “sending another black man to jail”!!! Jurors are expected to see gruesome photos of the boy, whose injuries Fischer described in harsh detail: bruises on his back, sides, genitals and buttocks; bleeding from his mouth, where his tongue was nearly severed; cracked teeth and broken ribs.
Kyle’s blood was on the walls and floors of the Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment, on Martin’s cue stick and on the sheets and bed covers.
“It was a slow and painful death,” Fischer said. “It was not a quick death, as some have suggested. It was a murder that could not have taken seconds. A murder that nobody could sleep through.”

Sheriff Robert Evenson wrote that Scott said he was punishing Heaven “for disobeying him and for soiling her clothing and ‘regressing’ with her potty training. . . . by striking her with a plastic sauce spoon and that Heaven was moving around trying to avoid the strikes and Steven Scott lost control of his temper and ‘went overboard.
“Steven Scott stated that at least one time, Heaven was trying to avoid his strikes when he ‘spun’ her around, causing Heaven to fall and strike her head on either the floor or the wall of the house…Evenson wrote that he saw injuries on Heaven’s forehead, abdomen, back, arms and legs, and lips.

She is scheduled to go on trial in March, charged with intimidation of a witness and assault and battery on a child with substantial injury.

Arpaio forced inmates to wear pink underwear, claiming the color ‘calmed’ them. He created the nation’s first female chain gang. He reduced inmate meals from three to two a day, claiming to serve the cheapest prisoner meal in the U.S. at just 15 cents each.
Arpaio eliminated coffee, salt and pepper from inmate meals and banned skin magazines from jail cells. Inmates’ TV choices: the Disney Channel and C-SPAN. He created a tent city to handle inmate overcrowding. Those who complained about the heat got this from Arpaio. “It’s 120 degrees in Iraq and the soldiers are living in tents and they didn’t commit any crimes, so shut your mouths.”
