NYC- STEPDAD KILLS GIRL, 7, FOR TAKING JELLO PUDDING FROM FRIDGE! TODAY IS THE 4th ANNIVERSARY OF NIXZMARY BROWN’S MURDER! Cesar Rodriguez, Nixzaliz Santiago, Ama Dwimoh, Kathleen Mullin, Jeffrey Schwartz

Murder Victim. Murdered for taking a Strawberry Jello Pudding snack from her family’s fridge and over a broken computer printer.

Nixzmary Brown was a 7 year old girl who was starved, beaten & murdered by her stepfather, Cesar Rodriguez while her mother, Nixzaliz Santiago turned a blind eye. Nixzmary Brown was kept imprisoned in a storage room, duct tape put over her mouth and tied to a chair for hours on end. A bungee cord tied her left ankle to the chair and it would cut into her flesh when she tried to move it. She was raped o.rally by her stepfather repeatedly. It was said that the other kids witnessed it. While the other children were eating hot, home cooked meals, little Nixzmary was left cat food to eat and was forced to use a cat’s litter box for a toilet. Because she was being starved, she waisted away to a skeletal looking 36 pounds. The weight of a 4 year old. All of this was done to her, while her mother, Nixzaliz Santiago turned a blind eye.

On the evening of January 9th 2006 the family went out on a fun filled shopping trip to the neighborhood Target. Nixzmary, who had visible bruises was left home alone. At Target the family bought toys and treats for the other kids. Bratz dolls, Power Rangers, Hot Wheels. Play Dough. Nothing was bought for little Nixzmary. The stepfather, Cesar Rodriguez bought 3 packs of Jello pudding for his baby son.

On the evening of January 10th 2006, Administration For Children Services caseworker, Joyceline St. Hill was ordered to visit the home of Nixzmary Brown in the evening. Joyceline St. Hill decided to put it off until the next morning.

Little Nixzmary Brown, who was being starved, became hungry and took a Strawberry Jello Pudding snack out of the fridge. When Cesar Rodriguez was told that Nixzmary Brown took the pudding from out of the fridge and broke his computer printer, he started beating her in front of her mother, dragged her to the bathroom, kicking and screaming and threw her into the bathtub like a rag doll. He pushed her head under the cold water as punishment. Little Nixzmary cried out, “ai, ai, Mommy! Mommy!” The stepfather fatally bashed Nixzmary’s head into the bathtub faucet. Nixzmary’s mother, Nixzaliz Santiago heard a loud thud that came from the bathroom. The mother came to the bathroom, told him to stop, then more concerned about her own hide, she left! Afterwards, he carried her back to her room, punched, kicked and beat on her some more then left her lying on the floor.

A few hours later when Nixzmary Brown’s mother saw her lying on the floor, cold, she took her back to the bathroom, gave her a bath to warm her up and dressed her in a warm sweatsuit. She put her to lie down on the floor next to the radiator to warm up. When Nixzaliz Santiago was leaving the room, Little Nixzmary called out, “Mommy, Mommy, don’t leave me”! Those were Nixzmary Brown’s last words. Her mother left her there on the floor and went into the other room to be with her husband. Nixzmary Brown died there a few hours later on the cold wooden floor.

When the ACS caseworker, Joyceline St. Hill came to the home the next morning, she walked into a crime scene complete with police cars and detectives. She was told Nixzmary was murdered the evening before – the very evening she was ordered to visit!

Cesar Rodriguez was convicted of Manslaughter and sentenced to 29 years in prison. Nixzaliz Santiago was also convicted of Manslaughter and received 43 years in prison, almost a decade longer than her husband. The ACS workers, Supervisor Andrew Bartley and caseworker Joyceline St. Hill were fired. Supervisor Orlene Cummings kept her job! Andrew Bartley and Joyceline St. Hill sued to get their jobs back! I heard a worker named Orlene Cummings retired and is receiving a pension! Nixzmary Brown’s grandmother, Maria Gonzalez filed a 250 million dollar lawsuit against New York City. She’s currently battling Nixzmary’s biological father, Abdurrahman Mian, for control of the estate. The bio dad only saw little Nixzmary one time – in her coffin. On October 9th 2009 the Governor of the State Of New York, David Patterson signed into effect, Nixzmary’s Law. The law says that if you murder a child under the age of 14 in an especially cruel and wanton manner, the sentence of life without the possibility of parole can be imposed.
