TX- CPS SEES UNEXPECTED JUMP IN CHILD ABUSE CASES! “Following state and regional trends, Nacogdoches saw a significant increase in the number of investigations and removals of abused and/or neglected children from homes by Child Protective Services in 2009, according to Lisa King, Nacogdoches County Child Welfare Board chairwoman. At one point last year, the county had 28 children removed and placed into foster care in a single month. Investigative caseworkers average a minimum of 12 investigations each month.”

GA- LAWMAKERS INTRODUCED BILL TO BAN SEX BETWEEN TEACHERS & STUDENTS OVER 16! Melissa Chase The pair of bills inspired by case where woman teacher, Melissa Chase had consensual sex with 16 year old student. She was convicted and conviction overturned.
Granado, who turned 50 on Friday, admitted to Boise police he had sex with Cheyenne on the last day she was seen alive — but has denied being involved in her death. He has never been charged with her murder.
Granado told police he dropped Cheyenne off at a convenience store at Maple Grove and Overland roads at 9 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2002 — the night she disappeared — and she began to walk home. He also admitted to giving her alcohol that night, according to court testimony.

The 4th District Court of Appeal in Santa Ana called the petition an “unprecedented, meritless effort by a stranger,” and ordered an Orange County probate court to vacate its order for an investigation into Suleman’s finances.
Former child actor, Paul Petersen, who’s the president of a org called “A Minor Consideration” that looks out for the financial interests of kids in movies – filed the petition. I agree with the judge’s order. There is no evidence that Nadya Suleman is a bad mother and not capable of overseeing her children’s finances. Paul Petersen and lawyer Gloria Allred, along with a lot of other people simply do not like Nadya Suleman and are hell bent on causing trouble for her.

In May 2009, the girl was drinking at a party, became intoxicated and called Thompson at about 1 a.m. to pick her up. Thompson then drove her to his apartment and had sex with her, court records said.”

Janet Jenkins – ex partner, Lisa Miller –bio mom, Isabella -7 First I want to say that I believe in equality for all, that includes gay marriage and adoption. It’s also unfortunate that the bio mom, Lisa Miller, is a bigot. That being said, this case could have some serious ramifications allowing stepparents to have rights to your child after you’ve divorced them. Janet Jenkins never bothered to adopt the child. She could’ve but didn’t. That makes her by definition, a stepparent. If she had adopted Isabella and Lisa Miller still refused to let her see her daughter, then it’s understandable that Miller’s rights would be revoked. But that’s not the case here. Janet Jenkins is not biologically related to the child and never adopted her. She’s a stepparent and yet this stepparent was awarded visitation rights. Do we really want stepparents in this country, be it h.omosexual or h.eterosexual, to have visitation rights to children after the bio parent divorces them??? I’m not a lawyer so I can’t say for sure, but this case could end up setting a precedent and every stepparent that’s vindictive will start filing for custody of your child.
MA- PARENTS OVERDOSED GIRL, 4, ON BIPOLAR MEDS TO KEEP HER QUIET & OUT OF THEIR WAY, ALLEGEDLY, SHE DIED – AT PRETRIAL, LAWYERS CLAIM STATE’S OWN MEDICAL REPORT SAYS GIRL COULD’VE DIED FROM PNEUMONIA & MOVE FOR DISMISSAL! Rebecca Riley, 4, Carolyn & Michael Riley The defense wants the case dismissed because they claim the grand jury was misled as to the cause of death.
A state medical examiner found that Rebecca died of a combination of Clonidine, a blood pressure medication the girl had been prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; Depakote, an antiseizure and mood-stabilizing drug prescribed for bipolar disorder; and two over-the-counter drugs, a cough suppressant and an antihistamine. The amount of Clonidine alone in Rebecca’s system was enough to be fatal, the medical examiner said.
But the defense argues in the motion to dismiss that the report by the state’s expert, Dr. Sara Vargas, a lung specialist, supports the defense claim that she died of an acute, fast-moving pneumonia.

DUBAI- BRITISH WOMAN IN HOTEL DRINKING TO CELEBRATE ENGAGEMENT, RAPED BY HOTEL WORKER – THEN JAILED FOR HAVING SEX OUTSIDE MARRIAGE WITH FIANCE! The woman is of Pakistani descent but lives in London.
When she reported to the police that she had been raped, she and her partner, 44, were themselves jailed for sex outside marriage, which is illegal under the emirate’s laws. Unmarried couples are not allowed to share hotel rooms or live together, although many establishments turn a blind eye. The couple were also charged with being drunk outside licensed premises.
Dubai just built the world’s tallest skyscraper. That’s good for tourism but when people hear about this story, nobody is going to want to go there.
