CA – CALIFORNIA TO BE THE ONLY STATE WITHOUT POISON CONTROL!
Due to budget cuts, California will soon be the only state without a Poison Control Center!
“The defeat of Propositions 1A through 1E effectively puts the poison-control service on the chopping block and eliminates its funding from the state budget, officials said.”
The CPCS is encouraging people to call the governor at 916-445-2841 and voice their frustration about the shutdown.”
This is a disaster waiting to happen! What happens if little kids swallow glue or detergent or what have you?? Who do parents call then? How many kids are going to have to die before they allocate money to keep their Poison Control Center going? This is a disaster in the making!!!
