Holmes said the suspect admitted going into the victim’s room at night and touching her. The pastors told the victim that because the father was repentant, she should forgive him and restore their relationship.
After this conversation, the suspect stopped sexually abusing the older victim but reportedly continued sexually abusing the younger sister.
During the final weeks of Patrick’s life, he was vomiting, fatigued and missing school, authorities said. When Anderson sought medical treatment for her son, she didn’t tell doctors about his chronic kidney disease, police said.
According to her arrest report, Anderson told Las Vegas police that Patrick didn’t like taking the medication, so she stopped giving it to him.

In addition, Fugett wrote over $5,000 in checks on the JCCA’s accounts toward paying off her personal credit cards, prosecutors said.
Police were notified and the investigation revealed that Hess’ computer also contained files with a large number of images that were placed into folders titled, “Incomming,” “Best,” “Good” and “Rare.”

was being tortured by stepdad, Cesar Rodriguez while mom, Nixzaliz Santiago, turned a blind eye. Nixzmary was starved & emaciated to a skeletal looking 36 pounds. She was kept locked in a dirty spare room & duct taped to a chair for hours every night. A bungee cord was tied from the chair to her ankle to prevent her from escaping. It would cut into her flesh when she moved her foot. She was beaten with a black leather belt & raped orally by her stepfather. She was left nothing but cat food to eat and forced to use a cat’s litter box for a toilet. All of this was done while her mother turned a blind eye.
When the stepfather was told that Little Nixzmary took a strawberry Jello Pudding snack from the fridge & his printer was broken he beat her, dunked her head under cold water & fatally bashed her head into the bathtub faucet. Afterward he dumped her frail, rail thin body onto the bedroom floor.
Nixzmary’s mom came to check up on her then left the room. As she was leaving, Nixzmary called out, “mommy, mommy, don’t leave me”! Her mother left her there on the floor & went to be with her husband. Little Nixzmary died on the floor calling out for her mother.
When cops found her bruised and battered body on the bedroom floor, there was no part of her that was not covered with cuts and bruises in all shapes and colors. The apartment was dubbed a "House Of Horrors".
3 years later, the stepfather, Cesar Rodriguez went on trial & was sentenced to 29 years for manslaughter. Nixzmary's mother, Nixzaliz Santiago, also convicted of manslaughter, received a 43 year sentence, almost a decade more than her husband. In Oct. 2009, the Governor of the State of New York signed into effect, "Nixzmary's Law". It imposes a sentence of life without parole for the murder of a child under age 14 in an especially cruel & wanton manner.
